PAMPANO WINES are crafted by twenty-five year veteran winemaker, Nick Goldschmidt. Pampano comes from the Province of San Juan, located just north of Mendoza. The vineyards are flanked on the west by the majestic Andes Mountains, which form a natural barrier protecting the region from the chilly winds of Pacific Ocean. The San Juan River flows across the southern portion of the region and carries clear, pure water from the snowy peaks of the Andes. The climate is dry with soils that range from rocky alluvial mixtures of clay and sand to dense, fertile clay soils.
